Trading Education

An introduction to forex markets, leverage and risk management.

What is forex?

Foreign exchange markets involve trading one currency against another. Currency prices can respond to interest rates, inflation, political events and market sentiment.

What does leverage mean?

Leverage allows a position larger than the capital committed. It magnifies both gains and losses and may trigger margin calls or forced liquidation.

Common order types

Market orders aim for immediate execution; limit orders specify a price; stop orders may activate after a price threshold. Execution prices can differ from expectations during volatile periods.

Risk management concepts

Learn about position size, diversification, transaction costs and the possibility of losing the entire amount invested. Stop-loss orders cannot guarantee an exact exit price.
